  I posted a few things/stories/pictures on Facebook today. Because I haven't figured out how to get pictures from my iPad on to the blog. Doh. I had more adventures today, that's for sure. Forget about The Eye of the Tiger. Today was The Eye of the Bull. I think I will use that expression more now: taking the bull by the horns. Also the expression: Vayas con Dios!
  Also, Hurricane Otto just made Costa Rican history. They say it's the first hurricane to hit Costa Rica since they've been keeping track, for something like 170 years. We are on a hurricane watch here on the west coast. I also read that 7 people have already died in Panama from mudslides and flooding. Thank goodness for a solid cement house. Except for the creek near by...

Love will win.

   The more I write, the more I see the intricate psychology of writers. I love my writing community, and knowing that I belong.   What should I write about today? Isn't it supposed to be important to have something of value to say?? What has been my latest travels? That's always a favorite topic of mine. The last travel was the 7-8 hour drive from Apple Valley in California over to the coast and go north to Santa Barbara. Oh, it was such a nice day for a drive. We had the car packed perfectly. The ocean was beautiful. We saw some cool things like the city of Los Angeles, and a ship so big that in the distance Ron thought it was an island. I saw another gorgeous moon rise quickly followed by a sunset. The Joshua trees turned into weird shaped things that were filled in by a black permanent marker. Tuckered out by 9am??

  I'm dedicating this post to Rhiannon, who says one day she must come here. I got up, sat at the back porch and had some chamba chai, and jumped on my bike. It was just after 6am when we rolled out of the arched gate to the house, which was covered in flowering vines.   Getting up before 6am is wonderful. March is summer time here, and it gets so dang hot in the middle of the day! Everything is quieter and cooler at 6am. I used to whine and moan about getting up early, but I've never had such a great incentive before. Plus, I don't work swing shifts until midnight either. That factors in too.   We got to the beach and the had already come up. Pity, because it's amazing watching the sky light up, then the sun emerge from behind the mountains. It was low tide, which means tomorrow morning will be a good time to snorkel. It's going to be so much fun, I can't wait. The hardest part about snorkeling is reminding Ron that I like shallow water, not going half way...
