Ride a bike in Europe
So I stayed home and relaxed, Ron was gone doing stuff for 4 hours. I was happy to stay home. Then I was ready to ride bikes.
I have no idea how long it took to get there, but I was doing good and not tired (I'm so happy with my stamina). We arrived where we were yesterday, where the river goes through town and there are multiple bridges.
I was ready to get my bottom off the bike, though. It was also nice because the sky turned cloudy. Just over 80 degrees somewhere. Great when I'm riding a path dedicated to bikes, along a river. It's simple to get to, but the first part of the road is not bike friendly, it has high curbs. I have a heavy bike with thin tires. I don't like that so much. When you see the church, cross the street to go down under the bridge to ride along the river.
So we head back, parts of the sky are turning all those sunset colors. I was looking around, and feeling the breeze of bike riding. I was thinking that this was an awesome life, it was really good. And then Ron's bike had issues. The chain came off. He needed a screw driver to fix it. So he tried to fix it, and it took him probably half an hour or more. Then towards the end of it, I was worried. The light was fading, and I had to go to the bathroom. On top of that the area where were had flowering trees. The trees were surrounded by 2 types of bugs. One kind was like a bumblebee but a light honey brown color. I never could tell if it had a stinger or not. But they flew like bees, there were probably 50 of them per tree. They didn't try to land on me but 3 of them flew into me. Twice into my face. Not cool. Then there were even more smaller ones, that I can only hope weren't mosquitos. They seemed more interested in the trees than the people.
I have to use the bathroom, the sky is getting darker, and then there's lightening in the distance. I can see it's raining in the north. Which made me think of yesterday's lively little storm. Man, I just wanted to get home! But there was no thunder and no rain, only 5 drops on the way there.
Then finally, FINALLY he got it working. We got home about half an hour before it was truly dark outside. It feels so extremely good to be home. To sit on the couch and put my feet up. Ahhhhhhhhh. Now it's 21:05 and it's windy out there, and there is more lightening. Still no thunder. I'm so happy. And tired.
I will send some pictures from my phone. Oop, there's some thunder.
Actually, it ended up being a second in a row early evening store with lots of bright lightening and roaring thunder. This one had extreme rain too. So awesome, especially when it ends before I want to try and sleep. Thank you, Skopje.
My bulky bike.

The view from the restaurant.
See the horses? We saw a small herd of sheep roaming too. Maybe 10-15 of them. Glad they were all on the other side.
