Wildest coincidences

There have been two so far.
The first one was being in Costa Rica last year and standing outside of my Mom's house in Samara looking at some howler monkeys in the trees. Another couple walks up, and we all admire the monkeys and talk a bit. It turns out they are from the exact same area of Denmark where my father lives. And we were going there in a few weeks. How crazy is that? We never saw them again, but the trip to Denmark was epic (I hadn't seen my Dad in about 18 years).
The second one was last night when we were at a near empty restaurant here on the island of Borneo and heard a lady saying she was from the United States. We ended up talking to her for a bit and she said she was from Ohio, and had been to Costa Rica three times. That she had been to Samara. How crazy is that?
Well, there was another outstanding coincidence this morning actually. A while back I wrote about a lovely lady named Eve who took the time to give us advice and talk just while in passing down the street. It was an instant friend, though I thought I would never see her again, like the Danish couple. Against all odds we found her again today in the lobby of our hotel. It's nice and cold down there with great air conditioning so were just sitting on the couches before going out into the heat again. In walks Eve! She was there to pick up her brother to take him to the airport. It does not get more random than that. This time I got her email address, we took a picture, and promised to not deny our destiny as friends.
There is actually a fourth wicked coincidence lined up in two weeks, now that I think about it this theme. We leave in three days for Yogyakarta in Indonesia. We are there for ten days and then we go to Kuala Lumpur for a week. While in Kuala Lumpur we have a place on our list to visit. It's the coffee shop of a friend I made while on the river cruise two weeks ago. The cruise where I photo-bombed a picture they were taking of her group, since it was in front of my table. She thought it was funny and gave me her business card. She was on a group tour and part of it was here in Kushing. She now owns a coffee shop in Kuala Lumpur and asked us to come visit with her. And I plan to! We set the day, June 4th.
All these crossing paths is so interesting to me. How small the world really can feel some times.
