Dream a little dream

Dreams can be so interesting. However usually the thing that bores me the most is listening to other people's dreams. If you feel the same way, you can stop reading now. I want to write out mine. I'm just kidding, I think you might like this one.
I had a dream that someone asked my husband and I to help with an art studio they were putting together. We were excited about the idea, and then that guy's business partner also asked us. I told him that we said yes, but wondered how we could contribute. We are not artists, unless you include fantastic pictures of places we have traveled to.
I said we were every day art people, not the kind that go around to galleries, but the kind that go out to the forest. The kind of people who live in ordinary places, and try to make them more extraordinary. The friend said: Yes! We have a name. We will call it Everyday Art. I said how about Art Every Day? He chose EveryDay Art.
And then I woke up. see, 2 paragraphs about a dream isn't too hideous, is it? The idea stuck with me as I was lounging in bed with a minor headache. The strangest thoughts come right before and after sleep, when my entire brain isn't yet in the physical world. Those moments in the morning when nothing is demanding that I get out of bed and forget all about my silly dream. Perfect timing, my mind was free to wander.
I think it would be a great idea to have this little studio. The kind where you create little themed areas, and you go through one section to the next. You can choose a path based on your tastes. Maybe you like the dark side, maybe you like comic art, or black and white photos. There could be sections of Tasteful Art - art in the kitchen, with bags of unusual spices for sale, with 3 recipes stapled to the package. Posters of  100 varieties of tomatoes, or mushrooms, and so on. Measuring charts for to be placed on the inside of the cupboard door, to open and use as needed while cooking. One of a kind salt and pepper shaker sets, those are a favorite of mine.
Art for the ears. we could call it The Sound of Art. It could include everything from the sale of earrings to CD's. There could be a web page for the studio that goes in more detail for each art theme. Including a link to YouTube and a daily highlight of an instrument, singer, or even a bird song.
Skinned Art could have a henna tattoo artist there. It could have a wall where people can come and get a picture of their other tattoo work, and have it put on the wall as part of the collection. It could include pamphlets with information on weird skin care rituals around the world.
Nose in The Air Art could be the more expensive art, and also include the sale of essential oils. See?? One small dream and all of a sudden I have a business idea that I wish I could run with. In real life we want to travel. Having a studio/import/export business would be fantastic, in my grand imagination.
We could have areas of countries. What do Americans do to decorate their homes? (not all that  much, as far as I'm concerned, unless your name is Lindsey and Dave Gleason!) What do Costa Ricans do with their living space? How about Danish people? (We're about to find out in April!)
Oh, and I have to create a section for fairy gardens. I'm in love with those. And sea shells.
And a section for short classes. Like a half an hour of drawing. Or, also, it's a place where artists can come and demonstrate how they do what they do, and sell some of their work. I will go to every single class that shows how to take things like pine cones and make them into pieces of decoration.
I'm really getting into this idea! I could have 30 ideas, and just change up the 10 spaces of the studio every week, or month. I don't know much about this kind of business, but if I was a millionaire, I would get this thing rolling! The last money maker section could be a little coffee corner, selling things to drink, and the beans too.
Maybe just convert a regular house with a lot of rooms. Then decorate the exterior too. I love artistic landscaping. And use the kitchen for the Tasteful art. Use the porch as a place to sip tea. Or make it an UnCoffee Shop, and sell herbal teas and Avasae healthy stuff. Or both.
I would sell calendars from around the world. And find or create a world calendar, so that practically every day we could have a theme for the gallery. Like compare how Saint Patrick's Day started, how it's currently celebrated in Ireland, and how it's currently celebrated in places like the United States (there may be some irony involved).
